ResponsibleSteel is pleased to announce a new member, voestalpine AG, a leading technology and capital goods group with combined material and processing expertise.
Each year, around 1,800 million tonnes of steel are produced and processed worldwide, seven million tonnes of it by voestalpine. Using steel in its products and systems solutions, voestalpine is a leading partner to the automotive and consumer goods industries in Europe and to the aerospace, oil and gas industries worldwide.
Claudia Korntner, Head of Corporate Responsibility, voestalpine AG, said: “We take our environmental and social responsibility very seriously.
